This is a baby friendly hospital for UNCOMPLICATED pregnancies. Services: Doctors are all very competent and are all certified specialists/subapecialists. Nursing services provide excellent care with compassion and are polite and professional. The midwives all provide gentle newborn care and are very experienced in doing so. Rooms: the room is clean, with regular cleaning. The interior is a little old. But what matters is that its clean. Admitting/billing/philhealth: their process is very efficient so its easy for first timers. Medical Records: the only comment I have here is the hassle where they make us have the Obgyn sign the birth certificate. But I guess its the most efficient way for them to gurantee that the documents will be processed immediately.
This is a late feedback, but I just want to share my wonderful birthing experience at Dr. Jesus C. Delgado Memorial Hospital last November 2024. My baby is now turning one soon, and I’m still deeply grateful for the care and support I received during my stay. 💖 The doctors, nurses, and staff were all kind, attentive, and professional. They made sure I was comfortable and well taken care of throughout my delivery and recovery. From admission to discharge, every process was smooth and organized, you can truly feel that everyone works with compassion and dedication. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, the food was good, and the overall atmosphere made me feel safe and cared for. It was such a positive and memorable experience, especially for a first-time mom like me. Even though this feedback comes a year later, I’ll never forget how well I was cared for. Thank you, Delgado Hospital, for making my first birthing experience truly smooth, memorable, and full of heart. 💕👶
My sister and I brought her kid to the ER last night and the service was appalling. Care in healthcare not found. There was only 1 other patient (kid) and ilang beses pa kami tinanggihan iadminister na nila yung next doses sa neb kahit due naman na talaga. As someone who's also a healthcare professional, we tried our best to leave them be and let them do their jobs. Pero as family members of the patient, we're not there to also keep reminding them to do their jobs!
A Nightmare Experience I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hospital. I was an outpatient, and everything seemed straightforward—until it came time to settle the bill. First, they presented a total of **24,000**, which was already higher than expected. Then, just a few minutes later, they came back and said they had *made an error* and the actual bill was **54,000**. Jumping from 24k to 54k is completely unacceptable and feels like a blatant rip-off. There was no clear explanation, no accountability, and no proper breakdown to justify such a massive change. This kind of service is unfair, unprofessional, and incredibly stressful for patients who are already dealing with health concerns. I hope they seriously improve their billing accuracy and transparency, because no one else should have to go through this kind of nightmare.
