This hospital is a nightmare. We wasted almost 2 days waiting because they kept telling us a doctor would check my mother, only for them to admit after we signed the waiver that there was no doctor at all. What the hell!? The nurses are useless and unprofessional — they just sit around while patients suffer. Even the guard saw my mother struggling and did absolutely nothing. This place has zero compassion, zero care, and zero responsibility. Never again. This hospital is a disgrace.
Nurses and Guards are EXTREMELY unprofessional. Not only do they have a rude attitude, but they fail to do what they specifically told us they will do. As far as I know, I was told DIRECTLY that I, a watcher, can leave at ANY time, meaning I am free to leave whenever I want, so why do I have to be permitted to be able to leave for 5-10 minutes? That's literally the opposite of what they told me. Not only that, but they prolonged my Mom's stay by making her arm swell after they did a mistake in inserting an IV needle on her left arm. We ARE PAYING FOR YOUR MISTAKES!!!! Not recommended. Bad people, extremely unsanitary and they will make your conditions worst.
Doctors were unprofessional. Inquired for their hospital services since this is near where we live and we were considering our budget. Doctor told us in a very unprofessional way to just transfer to private hospital since rates will be the same because we are not considered indigent. We proceeded with the check up, they asked us to purchase medical supplies to be used, from pharmacy outside the hospital, considering we paid the check-up fee with the same rates in private hospital where those supplies are free. Considering this is supposed to be a government hospital for all san juan residents, its disappointing!
Only if i had other options aside this one - i would rather choose other hospital. Sobrang tagal ng billing and discharge process. Ask Need to coordinate to philhealth even though patient has full HMO coverage. Not recommended. Very frustrating experience. I understand the prioritization for patient under cash payment vs HMO. Very different process. I don't see any previllage of HMO users here. Not at all. This hasn't change eve
This hospital doesn't have the urgency to help stroke patients. We regret taking our 61-year-old dad to this hospital. As they're professional in this field, they should have known better what the right tools to give to the patient and what the patient really needed, especially during urgent time. If they knew the NGT for tube feeding was incorrect, they should have insisted on getting the correct one before proceeding with treatment. Nasaktan po ang tatay ko kaya hinila nya ang tube na hindi silicone kaya dumugo! Since then, it's been even harder to put any silicone tube through his nose.. Dad did not receive any food, not even TPN. Ang babagal po nila. He did not receive the proper care needed to get nutrition into his body. The doctor even insulted my family, in a sarcastic tone to comment on the expense of the medical services we wanted. It was as if he thought we couldn't afford the 5k per injectable TPN. Hello? During admission, they told my family they would be placed in a private room because they're not San Juan residents, and we accepted that, knowing it would be expensive. However, my dad received the same treatment as other patients, which was confusing! It was also confusing that my family had to change my dad's diaper. Isn't that the nurses' job? I wish we had transferred him to a real private hospital. Furthermore, they asked my sister, who was with my dad on the third day, to sign a waiver for a second CT scan without adequately explaining the reason for the waiver or the potential side effects of the scan. We suspect the second CT scan caused the brain hemorrhage. Dad died on the third night in the hospital. 💔😢 I will never take any family members to this hospital again. I do not recommend this place.
